Kevin M.A. Cunningham

Born Ayrshire, Scotland, I studied illustration at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee. I worked as an Illustrator in London until 1994 when one of my self-portraits was selected for the Royal Society of Portrait Painters annual exhibition. Since then, my work has been widely exhibited both in the U.K and abroad. I returned to live in Scotland in 2014.

In Big Eddy as St. Andrew, ‘white clouds formed an 'x' shape in the sky.’ The painting was inspired by the Legend of Oengus (Angus) II, King of the Picts 820-834 AD, and St. Andrew, Patron Saint of Scotland.
