Sam Cornwell

I am a photographic artist living and practising in the Scottish Borders while supporting my young family. The photograph is of my eldest child, Indigo who suffered as many children do in the UK from the affliction of chickenpox.

Almost regarded as a 'rite of passage' in this country I hope the photograph will bring attention to the fact that a working vaccine for chickenpox is available and indeed, used in most modern countries throughout the world. The reasons it is not available on the NHS are unclear and ambiguous.
